What is the Adventure Challenge Course?
A collection of activities designed for the encouragement of team building, cooperation and communication as well as enriching the participants’ mental, physical, social and emotional capabilities.
Why use the Adventure Challenge Course?
A challenge course is meant to provide an environment where experiential learning can take place. Your group will be given specific challenges which require cooperative team effort from the participants in order to reach a common goal. Throughout your experience, your course facilitator will lead the group in discussions about what happened and what can be learned as a result.
Low Course
Our low course is comprised of nine different elements. These group initiative activities are no more than 12’ above the ground. Participation in the low course involves a group being given a specific task to complete on various elements and working together to achieve success.
High Course
The uniquely designed double-decker high course consists of seventeen different elements constructed out of aircraft cable, logs and strong synthetic rope suspended at levels of 25’ and 40’ between utility poles. A belay safety system including ropes, harnesses and helmets are used at all times. To exit the course, participants will enjoy either the 375’ zip line or the giant swing.

Benefits of the High Course
* Enhancing Team Unity
* Building Relationships
* Developing Self-Confidence
* Encouraging Others
* Taking Risks
* Facing Personal Fears
* Developing Trust
* Having Fun
* Respecting Personality Differences
Power Pole
For this adventuresome experience, participants will climb to the top of a 25’ pole, and attempt to stand on top of it, turn around, and jump for a ball that is suspended about 5’ in front of them. Harnesses are worn as the participant is belayed up and lowered down after the jump.
Logistics
We desire to design a unique program to meet the specific needs of your group. Typically, groups are scheduled for a half or full day. In a half day, your group could do either the high course or the low course. In a full day, you could do both courses (depending on the group size). For a group of 12 people, the power pole usually takes about two hours. Times can be somewhat flexible depending on the needs of your group. Lunch may be provided during the full day experience for an additional fee.
The minimum group size is 12 people. For the high course, the maximum group size for a half day is 30 people. The maximum group size for the low course for a half day is 110 people. Again, the maximum group sizes may be somewhat flexible depending on your group needs and the time frame you have available.
