Beef Bulgogi


600g fillet steak, thinly sliced

½ courgette

3 spring onions, finely chopped

The Marinade

1-2 whole pears, grated

7 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp mirin

3 tbsp sake (rice wine)

2 tbsp minced garlic

1 tsp minced ginger

2 tbsp spring onion, chopped

white / black pepper to season

1 tbsp sesame seeds

1 tbsp sesame oil


Mix marinade and pour it over the meat and mushroom. Prepare your wok clock: starting at 12 O Clock with courgette followed by your marinated meat. Heat your wok to a high heat and add 2 tsp vegetable oil or avocado oil. Fry your meat until sealed on one side, then add the courgette and fry for one minute before adding the sauce. Pour in the sauce / marinade and bring to vigorous boil for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
