On Wednesday 24 July, the fun continued with a morning run along the Bund with the AIA100 Running team. Led by AIA China CEO - Fisher Zhang and the AIA China ExCo, a team of employees, agents and customers carried the Centennial Baton as they ran past the sunrise over the Huangpu River. This was the first leg of the AIA100 run in China - a series of events that will continue across five provinces and cities over the coming months.
At the AIA Building, our Centennial was further celebrated through a dramatic performance from two aerial dancers who descended from the top of the building to street level.
At the finale of their performance, an enormous banner with the message ‘Celebrating our Centennial’ was unfurled down the front of the building. And if that wasn’t enough, Fisher Zhang then passed the Centennial baton to an intrepid climber who raced up the front of the building to hold the baton aloft from the very top.
