Identifying risks to employee health and addressing the problems are critical to improving business performance. In Asia-Pacific, an average of 67.5* days were lost to absence and presenteeism per employee in 2019. Understanding and improving the health and well-being of employees can save businesses billions of dollars every year.
After completing the survey, employees who participate in The Healthiest Workplace by AIA Vitality are each given a personal report detailing their unique AIA Vitality Age. This report gives them a comprehensive overview of their individual health and well-being in terms of lifestyle, clinical indicators, mental health, stress, and other vital areas of concern.
Research on corporate wellness demonstrates that the proactive management of employees’ physical and mental health can result a host of important business benefits — from improved staff engagement and productivity to a reduction in absence and staff turnover.
The goal of The Healthiest Workplace by AIA Vitality study is to better understand the interaction between employees’ lifestyle choices and their general health and business-critical outcomes, such as engagement and productivity, with a view to positively adding to the evidence base in this area.
