Our Net-Zero Journey

We began reporting on the emissions and energy use arising from our direct operations.

We launched our first Climate Statement and endorsed the TCFD.

We joined the PRI and Climate Action 100+. We also initiated portfolio analysis and engagement on climate change and became one of the first Asian asset owners to carbon footprint our listed equity investment portfolio.

2019

We became a signatory to the UNEP PSI and committed to net-zero emissions by 2050. We also completely divested our entire directly managed listed equity and fixed-income exposure from coal mining and coal-fired power businesses.

We became a participant of the UNGC Think Lab on Just Transition, and a member of the AIGCC.

Our Commitments and Targets

The Climate Transition Plan sets out a clear roadmap to meet our near-term targets for both our operations and our in-scope general account portfolio, setting us on the path towards net-zero emissions by 2050.
